The Brief

URAD Technologies is a med-tech start-up working in the radiology sector in India. Their vision is to deliver a unique technology-enabled patient experience in x-ray imaging as an accessible and personalized healthcare partner globally. Their goal is to set up clinics specializing in the x-ray modality all over Mumbai and Delhi under the name of XR Ai Digital or XR Ai Diagnostics. The company is creating an Al enabled smart radiology reporting platform by transforming remote radiology reporting with appropriate dicital enablement. They are looking to launch their first products and services, including independent <-ray clinics and at home x-ray services

Intervention & Impact

Created an inclusive space that creates an efficient workflow for the medical personnel resulting in the delivery of a safe, personalized healthcare experience to patients based on their individual needs via the implementation of digital technology 'Designed a frugal solution for the combination of a table bucky and a detector olate holder that makes patient positioning more efficient for the radiographer and comfortable for the patient while being inclusive of the needs of wheelchair bound patients. Overall. the key interventions are geared towards increasing patient safety.

My Role

Led the design and delivery process by coordinating with the research and development teams of user researchers. UI/UX designers, and full-stack developers. My key contributions included project planning, managing stakeholder engagement, redesigning the company fIlebsite, designing the space for the clinics and bespoke x-ray equipment.
